Final Piece: Using up Fabric Scraps

In an attempt to use up most of the scraps I made a bucket hat and used the scarps to stuff the head and brim to create a padded effect which is on-trend right now. I managed to use all of the scraps except the ones from the deconstructed shorts. This exercise demonstrated to me how hard it is to be completely waste-free in the fashion industry. Some elements of clothing cannot be recycled easily – for example the zippers and buttons from the shorts.
