Izzy Williamson

Izzy Williamson is a printmaker based in York. She is inspired by folk stories and myths, nature, music and beautiful objects. She mainly produces linocuts, some single-layered and others multi-layered, taking weeks to complete. Williamson mainly sells greetings cards singular prints of her work on Etsy but has collaborated with Cocoon Home in the past to create wallpaper and fabric for interiors. I love that both myths and nature feature in many of her linocuts, as I think the detail needed for both subjects allows them to mesh well together and look really effective. I also like the all over pattern prints she creates, as they fill the page and draw you in.
